My name is Magdalena Córcoles and I have been cooking in the Netherlands since 2014. I love cooking, and bringing to the table the flavours people actually eat at home in Spain.
I cook the food I grew up with. I was born in Valencia, the home of paella, and raised in La Mancha: Sunday paella, croquetas, tortilla eaten warm. Nothing fancy: just food that tastes the way it should.
Working as a paediatric nurse has made me particularly careful with allergies and intolerances. If someone at your table cannot eat gluten, tell me and I will prepare their food separately, using separate utensils and fresh oil, to prevent cross-contamination.
We serve Wassenaar, The Hague and the surrounding area. If you are a little further out, just ask. We can usually work something out.
Van Duivenvoordelaan 85, 2241 SP WassenaarMonday to Friday, 8am to 6pmCollection is arranged with you, so please let us know before you come. Magdalena cooks to order and works many weekends and bank holidays, so outside those hours we can usually manage too.

Either. We usually deliver above a certain order value, and you can also collect from our home in Wassenaar. The figure varies with the season and the distance, so ask when you request a quote and we will tell you.
I deliver the paellas myself: the pan is large and needs careful handling, and it travels in an insulated box so that it reaches you hot. Afterwards you bring the pan back to our home, or wherever we agree, which is usually easiest for both of us.
A week’s notice is plenty. For a paella for a big group, make it two. Ask anyway. We can often still fit you in.
Yes, on request. We prepare that person’s food separately, using separate utensils and fresh oil, to prevent cross-contamination. Tell us when you order and we will confirm which dishes can be adapted.
Yes. The Spanish omelette, the stuffed mushrooms, the devilled eggs, the cheese and grape buns and the vegetable mini tacos are all vegetarian. There is also a vegetable empanada and a vegetable paella, which we make with vegetable stock if you ask. Let us know and we will put together a suggestion.
Either. Usually we bring the food ready to serve, but we can also stay and serve it. We sort that out when you ask for a quote.
Because market prices change. We would rather send you a quote with the current prices, saying how long it is valid, so that what we tell you is what you pay.
Tell us what you are celebrating, how many of you there are and which day. We will reply with a quote, no obligation.
